The Do-It-Yourself Business Valuation Starter Pack for Excel contains three of
our best-selling products: The
Income Statement Template
for Excel, the Balance
Sheet Template for Excel and the
Cost of Equity and
WACC Calculator for Excel. This is a great starting point for conducting
your own business valuations.
The Income Statement and Balance Sheet Templates for Excel are each designed to accommodate three periods of data, which can be entered from a
firm's 10-K or 10-Q report (10-K and 10-Q reports are publicly available reports
detailing a company's financial position). The spreadsheets come pre-configured
with the most popular income statement and balance sheet categories, and are easily expandable by anyone with a basic knowledge of Excel.
A common-size
income statement and balance sheet are automatically calculated based on the input from the 10-K and 10-Q reports. (Common-size
income statements are used to show the percentage of total revenues represented by each item in the
income statement. Common-size balance sheets are used to show the percentage of
total assets and liabilities represented by each item in the balance
sheet.)
The Cost of Equity and WACC Calculator for Excel is a
simple spreadsheet designed to quickly calculate a company's cost of
equity and weighted-average cost of capital from publicly-available
information.
Date and number fields in all of the included spreadsheets may be re-formatted by the user (using Excel's built-in formatting capabilities) to accommodate non-US conventions.
